Posting a tutorial & hosting: Rules and FAQ
When posting a tutorial please rank it as follows:
If it's for beginners put [Beginner] at the start of the topic title.
If it's for experienced users put [Experienced] at the start of the topic title.
If it's for advanced put [Advanced] at the start of the topic title.
If members have questions they can reply or pm ( you if you say it ok).
Please state the program you are using in the subject, this makes it easier for other people to see whether it is of any use to them.
Try to be clear and concise with your tutorial, if people cant understand it then they cant use it.
Images are up to the tutorial maker, although most of the images help, I've seen some good tutorials with just a couple.
Although if you have included images, it is your responsibility to keep them up, so if they go down, I will PM you about either fixing the image links or altering the tutorial to not use the images, if you don't do fix it then I will have to remove it..
If you believe a tutorial has been ripped from somewhere else, dont post about it in the thread, PM me and I will look into the matter, from what I've seen posting that somebody ripped something always leads to arguments, when its better the matter is sorted quietly.
Anyway most of all have fun, and we hope you learn something new and enjoy yourselves.
Please follow these rules. Members will be banned if they violate these rules several times after warning or do so to an extreme extent. For instance, if you post a link to a forum's register page, you will be given a polite warning. But if you continue to do it and/or get on the moderator's case (the one who warned you), a ban may be in order.
The Writer's Corner Information and Rules « Result #10 on Dec 13, 2009, 10:02pm »
The Writer's Corner board is where all writers write stories, novels, fanfictions, poems.ect. Also writers can post casting call (casting members for their writing), ask for plots ideas or get feedback about their writing. Writers when your fanfiction or story is finish please edit your post and put (com) in the title and then I will post the whole thing in the fanfiction and stories archive forum and please keep all write pg 13 and under.
The Writer's Corner Board's Rules
1) Post only in English
2) No vulgarity, profanity, s*x stories, pornography, etc. Try to keep everything posted here at an PG-13 rating or lower. If you have an R rated story (or higher), feel free to tell others about it, but we ask that you do not post a direct link to your story. And please identify the rating in the subject line.
3) Long Story per author. Do not keep starting stories and not finishing others. My advice is if you get another idea, type it up in Works or WordPad and post when your other story is finished.
4) You may have up to 5 short stories at a time. We don't want one author taking over the whole board.
5) If your posting a collaboration with another member, try keeping it to 2 collabs' at a time.
6) NO FLAMES. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. Criticism is welcome, as long as it is CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, not just omg leik, ur story sUx!
7) And lastly, have fun!
Remember we hold the right to delete/close any story I feel isn't appropriate for the board.
